Post Canyon Rain Day

It was my last day in Hood River and the plan was to get a few riding and lifestyle shots near the top of Post Canyon, but the weather didn't want to cooperate. We spent more time trying shelter our gear than we did riding/shooting. Seems to be happening a lot lately.

Hood River Super D 2011

I spent this past weekend shooting the Hood River Super Downhill for VitalMTB. I'm pretty stoked with the images seeing how challenging the event was to shoot. It's not your typical race. Trying to cover 7 miles of downhill track is almost impossible in a day, but thankfully the shuttles were running all day and I could be dropped off not too far from the course. It's also a different group of competitors from typical downhill so I was not as familiar with the riders, so it required more research than normal.
