I don't make it back home very often, but when I do it's non-stop family time- 5 days of scheduled lunch and dinners. I'm about ready to get back to Seattle even though I haven't really done any of the things I wanted to while here. I guess it's not as bad as it sounds...I did get to head up to Dad's property. I'm not sure what I was thinking because I headed north with a dead battery in my camera and no backup. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for missing the chance to capture some images of true Florida style camping.

I need a vacation
Cold weekend on the coast so I decided to warm up a little and take a trip to Florida. Last night it got down to 32 in Clearwater. At least it's sunny. Be back in a week!

Irrational Thinking
It's funny how the faintest lines of yellow and green on the radar can cloud our judgement. And even more amazing how all rational thinking goes right out the window when BIG red blobs are headed our way. Recent images from a 6 hour round trip for 2 hours of water/camera time.
